CAMPGROUND POLICIES

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS:

Minimum of one night deposit required to hold a reservation for non-holiday/special event dates. The balance of your reservation is due upon arrival and is non-refundable after arrival.

For Holiday/Special Event Dates: Payment in full is required at time of booking.
3-night may be minimum required.

Holidays/Special Events: Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th Week, Highland Games and Labor Day Weekend.

Cancellation Policy for RV/Tent/Cabins (Non-Holiday/Special Event Dates):
*A $25 Cancellation Fee may be applied.
*If notice is received 7+ days prior to arrival full refund less cancellation fee.
*If notice is received less than 7 days prior to arrival no refund will be given.
*Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.

Cancellation Policy for RV/Tent/Cabins (Holiday/Special Event Dates):
*A $25 Cancellation Fee may be applied.
*If notice is received 14+ days prior to arrival full refund less cancellation fee.
*If notice is received less than 14 days prior to arrival no refund will be given.
*Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.

PRICING, ETC:

All sites/cabins are priced for 2 people/1 vehicle. Additional people over the age of 5 and additional vehicles are $6.00 each per night. Children 5 and under are free.

IMPORTANT: If you have larger than a 6-person tent please call the office to be sure you get a tent site that will accommodate your tent. Not all tent sites are the same size.

Check-In time is 2pm or after for RV/Tent sites, 3pm or after for cabins. All RVs are highly encouraged to be parked before dark.

Early check-in is not encouraged. If you need to come in early please call ahead to be sure your site is ready.

Late Arrivals - Please call ahead at 828-765-2681 if you are going to arrive after 7pm so we can discuss late arrival procedures. Wood can be pre-ordered if you will be late.

Check-Out time is 11am. Please contact the office if you need to arrange for additional time.

We offer a 10% military discount for service members with valid military or VA identification. No other discounts are available.

No refunds will be issued after check-in. Please note there is no additional charge for sunshine, rain, wind or hail; therefore, we cannot offer refunds under those conditions.

GENERAL POLICIES:

Quiet time is 10pm – 8am. Please be respectful of your fellow campers.

You must be 18 years of age or older to make a reservation.

Firewood is available for purchase at the store. Delivery of wood and ice to your site is available upon request.

The North Carolina Forest Service states that ‘raw’ firewood should not be transported to avoid bringing in bugs that are not native to our area. Buy it in the area you plan to burn it. Only heat-treated firewood can be transported.

Please help us protect our trees and foliage. Feel free to gather dead wood already on the ground for your campfire but do not cut, remove, prune or injure live trees or bushes. Do not drag limbs larger than the fire pit into your campsite.

All campfires must be contained to the designated fire pits. Please do not burn trash, use the provided trash cans. Do not move the fire pits. All fires should be supervised. Do not leave fires unattended; be sure they are extinguished before leaving.

For the safety of our guests, children and pets, please keep to the posted speed limit of 5mph.

Bath House / Laundry – we offer a new style bath house that features 6 individual bathrooms (stool/sink/shower). #1 is handicap assessable & #6 is designated as family-size. The laundry also features new washers / dryers. Cost for a load is $3.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. Quarters & detergent are available in the office. It also features a large sink with hot water for the campers to do their dishes. Please remember to keep the doors shut and turn off the lights. Report any problems to the office.

Please be respectful of other campers and do not leave your laundry in the machines for extended periods of time.

Wifi is currently not available in the campground. Free wifi is available 5 miles north in Crossnore at the Miracle Grounds Coffee Shop if you need to check emails.

Golf carts and ATVs are prohibited.

While alcoholic beverages are permitted at your site, public intoxication is not permitted in the campground. Underage drinking is also not acceptable.

Profanity and abusive language is not permitted in our campground.

No fireworks, firearms or explosives are permitted in the campground.

Smokers, please dispose of cigarette butts properly. We are an environmentally conscience park and tossing cigarette butts on the ground or in the fire pits is unacceptable.

All cabins, the bath house/laundry and the office are SMOKE-FREE buildings. You agree to pay a $100.00 cleaning fee should evidence of smoke/odor be found in any cabin.

Children play at the playground at their own risk. We request supervision of all children under 10.

PET POLICIES:

Please have vaccination records available.

RV & Tent sites: Pets are welcome and must be registered at the front office.

Good pet-iquette should be observed at all times in the campground. Pick up immediately after your pet and throw away the bags in campsite trash cans. Please do not use the bath house or laundry trash cans.

Due to insurance requirements aggressive breeds are not allowed in the campground.

We care about the comfort of your pet. Please do not leave your pet unattended at your site, in your RV or in any pet-friendly cabin.

Not all cabins are pet-friendly. If evidence of a pet is found in a ‘pet-free’ cabin your on-file card will be charged a $100.00 Pet Cleaning Fee.

In a pet-friendly cabin you will be charged a $25 Pet Cleaning Fee. Limit 2 pets per cabin. If damage is found after check-out your on-file card will be charged an additional $100.00.

We are not responsible for accidents, injuries or acts of God.

We work hard to ensure that our Park is a safe place and reserve the right to interpret our rules. Campers and visitors who are uncooperative or violate the Park rules may be asked to leave without warning or refund.
